Project summary
The aim of this project was to develop an assessment tool to determine access to the disability and care dependency grants, in order to make the assessment process more equitable. It was therefore necessary to develop an effective assessment tool that may be used in assessing applications for both disability and care dependency grants. The tool was developed for use by a range of people, including medical doctors, small task teams and the assessment panels, and should accommodate the needs of people with disabilities.
