CATS will assist you in: administering educational and psychological tests on computer eliminating human error by scoring tests electronically printing reports of responses, raw scores and standard scores accessing results and reports immediately printing graphs (first and second order factors) constructing individualised aptitude batteries keeping records of clients Now upgraded to include: Norm Creator, which empowers you to calculate norms for unique groups of people tested with CATS. This function makes it possible to calculate standard scores such as stanines, stens, percentiles and t-scores, as well as means and standard deviations. Comprehensive data export facility, which makes it possible to convert and export the data from CATS to a data analysis application where data can be examined according to your needs. CATS is distributed on CD and no additional hardware is necessary. The user-friendly interface and on-line help screens will enable you to start using CATS immediately. To run CATS, your computer will need to comply with the following minimum specifications: CATS options CATS is available as a basic personal version for small scale testing in a private practice, or as a network version for bigger institutions that do large scale testing. There are three levels of user charges. (a) Purchase price of the software: The purchase charge will be determined the CATS version you purchase (e.g. from basic individual user to network version with multiple substations). (b) Annual licensing fee. This fee entitles you to receive additional tests that are released and minor upgrades and changes to CATS free of charge. (c) Fee for the administration of test units: For each test administered, a specified number of units will be subtracted. The first 100 units are provided free of charge so that you may experiment with CATS and get to know the system. Further units will be sold at R1-00 (VAT incl) per unit. These units may be purchased personally at Careers.co.za or by fax, telephone and e-mail.
